Dino Rocos, formerly operations director at John Lewis Partnership, is to join Clipper Logistics as an independent non-executive director.
Rocos retired in May after 43 years at John Lewis. He won the Individual Contribution Award in the 2013 Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
At John Lewis Rocos was a senior management board member with responsibility for the development of supply chain strategies.
Mike Russell, currently independent non-executive director, will retire from Clipper on 28 February 2020, having served for nine years on the board and its former parent company prior to its IPO in 2014.
Clipper executive chairman Steve Parkin, said: “[Rocos] appointment further enhances the skills and experience of the board and ensures the balance between executive and non-executive directors will be maintained following the retirement of Mike.”
